My goal with this work is to make academia attractive to potential grad students ... make it releveant, make it 'cool', hip. I like to compare it to television shows like Sesame Street, Electric Company, and ABC's Schoolhouse Rock. My goal is to present these students in a a way that they ordinarily would not be... as scholars, scientists, professors, etc.

The CUNY Pipeline Program is designed to provide educational and financial support to under represented CUNY undergraduates interested in pursuing the Ph.D. in preparation for college level teaching and advanced research in any discipline except law and medicine. The CUNY Pipeline Program seeks to recruit students from groups currently under represented in our nation's universities. These mini-docs focus on the students who made up the 2008-9 class.
