The kung-fu footage is taken from "The 36 chambers of Shaolin", a classic in Hong Kong action cinema and Hip-Hop. 'Shaolin' is hip-hop slang for Staten Island, home of rappers Wu-Tang Clan who have sampled this film frequently.
