This is a photo of Harlem CORE member Mary Dennison (sitting). It was taken approximately 1970 at a CORE Christmas party at Harlem Hospital. At the time, she was the publicist for national CORE. The two adults standing behind her are unknown.
Mary Dennison is the mother of CORE's current Director, Niger Innis, who is also the son of Roy Innis. She was the second woman Roy Innis married from Harlem CORE. He was also married to Harlem CORE members Doris Funnye and Dean Wing.
