Description
A collection of documents that relate to national CORE or were from the national office and were disseminated to all chapters.
The pre-Black Power items here come by way of the Civil Rights Movement Veterans website, http//:www.crmvet.org. It consists of documents that are from the National CORE office and given to all chapters for members. It includes three pamphlets, 'CORE Rules for Action', 'All About CORE' , and 'This is CORE'. Also includes a CORE membership card and a copy of the CORE-lator, their national newsletter.
My thanks to to Bruce Hartford of crmvet.org for allowing me the use of these documents. Great resource for scholars of the movement(s)...

National CORE membership card
This is CORE
A CORE pamphlet, given to all new members and potential members, recruitment tool. Take note of how the drawing of Gandhi is featured on it's cover.
CORE Rules for Action
This is a pamphlet given out to all potential members and members, describing CORE's definition of non-violent tactics to be used in demonstrations , protests, etc.
Core-lator
This is a copy of the national news letter. I picked this edition because it contains a story of the school boycotts that Harlem CORE helped organize in 1964.
